About Us & How Our System Works

ReadyToHelp.org is a project that started out in Independence, Missouri in the later part of 2007. The original concept was to create a website where a volunteer or visitor could come to learn more about different volunteer programs in their area. ReadyToHelp started out as one site, then as the months went by, we started to perfect our designs, the project started to grow.

ReadyToHelp.org provides websites to cities and counties in the state of Missouri and in the near future to all states in America at no cost. The entire ReadyToHelp.org was created by volunteer web designers. Not only does ReadyToHelp.org provide websites to all volunteer programs, but they are also working on web based applications to help different volunteer programs with their infrastructures. For example; web based sms text messaging for sending out activation alerts, general boards, and e-mail addresses to help with communications between volunteer programs in different cities and counties. The ReadyToHelp.org web designers are always looking for ways to assist volunteers and their daily roles before, during, and after an emergency.

Since ReadyToHelp.org is a volunteer project; Volunteer Supplies, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was created to help support the ReadyToHelp.org project, and to help volunteers by supporting their vital roles in society. All of the funding that is raised by Volunteer Supplies is passed along to the different volunteer programs around the nation by providing new tools and implementations to the ReadyToHelp.org website at no cost to the city / county volunteer organizations.
